5.2.4 Previous training. Training obtained from a prior employer must be documented and verified by the previous employer in order to be accepted by the current employer. For personnel credited with training from a prior employer or those not certified within 6 months of their training, refresher training must be provided. The refresher training shall cover the following subjects with the depth of coverage of each subject determined by the Level III responsible for the employer's certification program:
Standardization and calibration
Operation of applicable test or inspection equipment
Specific test or inspection procedures
Interpretation and evaluation of test or inspection results
Safety
Applicable codes, standards and specifications
5.3 Experience. Candidates for certification at Levels I, II or III shall have sufficient practical experience to assure that they are capable of performing the duties of the level for which certification is sought. The minimum requirements for Levels I, II and III are given in Table II.
